The office is great! My new work space is so much more comfortable and usable, I got tons done last week! I have figured out some things that need to be switched around as to where we originally stored/filed them because they aren't as conveniently located as I would like, but I can work on that a little at a time.
CC, haven't you heard of the "cougars"--older women seeking frivolous relationships with much younger men? They must not have sons, because if they did, the thought would make them nauseous. However, I think there is a bit of a double standard: Many people find it perfectly acceptable for an older man to have a young girlfriend, but cringe at an older woman and a young man. Both situations seem inappropriate to me.
d, sounds like you worked your tail off last week. Now that your course is done, does the workload decrease?
Phew-I liked to have died last week. In 4 days I logged in 43 hours of "work" but passed the course so I'm golden. This thing could really suck you in and spit you out the end...
Welcome Shawn--so much has gone on. Facebook is fun..you'll enjoy it I'm sure.
Okay--now I get to do my 38 loads of laundry and I'll be caught up from last week. Phew...

Hey LUV! Are you getting settled into your new office?
So here's a funny story:
A lady in my math class (and by lady, I mean adult woman, not 19/20 year old girl) has been shamelessly flirting with the young, fit, handsome, (I don't blame her really!) boys in the class. I guess one of the girls was getting tired of it because, mid-flirt, she asked the lady how old she was. When the lady mumbled her answer the girl said, unnecessarily loudly, "Wow, you're almost as old as my mom!"
I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!!! I mean, come on, the young studs sure are yummy to look at and make class a whole lot more interesting, but if they're young enough to be your own child, they're off limits.
Hugh Hefner, are you listening????

Oh, I'm already absolutely, completely crazy about my 1st Graders. See, I'm even calling them "my" 1st Graders. Cute, cute, cute. I think this field experience will be exciting. I'm sure it'll be challenging and I won't always be on Cloud Nine. But, wow, they're so darn cute.
