Boy--if we don't have any mykids I'll go get some just for you. You have been busy but it's so good to see you poke your head back in. 30k for cookie dough is pretty amazing and I'll be you had a what next sense after that. I'm back from a weekend away with the hubby...and enjoying about 10 inches of beautiful powder on the ground. Boys and I just got done shoveling the driveway. Even that is fun when the trees look so pretty.
Off to make hot chocolate and chicken noodle soup. Snow days are the best...(now that they can get all of their own snow clothes on...).

Oh Luv, I am so sorry and hope all is well. I had a parcial hysterectomy this fall and my own mom said I would be fine and she didn't see what the big deal was. Gee, thank God for my friends out here. One came over every morning after dropping off kiddos to do three loads of laundry, dishes that the kids missed, floors, etc. I got to "play" with the baby (which did help my depression). Six weeks is forever when your used to doing everything.

I too have been just nuts here. Last Spring I was offered a job with our school after 10 years of fundraising for the PTO, you could say the school snagged me! The first one I did for the school was cookie dough and brought in $30,000-- profit! I was so over whelmed I was excited but there is the "Oh crap, how in the world..." feeling. Well, in the fall the PTO President comes to me after open house and told she the entire PTO Board had resigned. No one wanted to do it and one mom's family was transfered out od state. I was able to work out with the Principal what to do with the money left over- since she handed over the checkbook and litterly walked away- and helped with closing accounts etc but Holy Cow! Right now my biggest job is formally organizing the volunteers. I need to get 60 teachers to use the Volunteer Builder program!
Otherwise my "baby" is in the first grade and my oldest is a Junior with the boys in between. Sure have missed all of you!

Do we still have Sprite with Jolly Ranchers?

Gosh I miss page two - but my schedule this semester is way too hectic to spend a lot of time online. I answer email, mess around on facebook a little bit and then I'm off to something else. Rush rush rush!

I thought they would figure that out when I had surgery back in 2007, but it was all quickly forgotten! I think my mom, friends, and one neighbor helped out so much that hubby and the kids didn't see too much extra work!

So glad you told MIL is wasn't going to work and even better she offered to help afterwards. It'll do folks good to step back and see how much you do around there. I remember thinking how cool it was when I had my surgery to not have to do anything. Hubby vowed once I was up and moving that he would NEVER go back into the store.

Hey LUV! I'm glad you got some good news from your doctor. I know it isn't GREAT news, but better than it could have been. What a relief that must have been.

I suppose people are used to you being the one that takes care of everyone else and it just doesn't occur to them that, from time to time, you need to be taken care of too.
