That sounds nice, LUV. You and the kids have some quality time and keep a routine going then you and hubby have some quality time too. That has to beat coming home to a plate of leftovers stuck in the oven!
In this economy folks are working when they can and that's changing some schedules and dinnertime routines. It's a challenging time for families.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

Wow mykids, and I've been depressed about the long hours my hubby has been putting in the last several months! Actually, we developed a new and really nice routine of the kids and I eating dinner and then we he gets home I fix his plate and sit and talk to him with no kids around-love it! The only downside is those darn kids seem to disappear completely during that time and aren't around for the post-dinner cleanup. Sneaky little boogers!
Wow--does your husband travle for work or do you? That's a long time without seeing each other. My husbands commute just went from 3 hours a day to about 20 minutes both ways so I am seeing more of him than I have in years, and years, and years....

Then I shouldn't menton that it's 74 degrees here? I wish I ment in my office!
I would love a weekend--shoot 15 minutes! with my hubby. He came home last night and the kids were so excited as it our first night home, at the same time in almost two weeks! The munchkins even cleared the table for dinner together.
Anyway, we figure it'll snow 3 feet over Spring Break so I will enjoy this while I can .
They are--and I don't mind but the initial gloves, hats and pants routine gets old real quick. And now we're on our SECOND SNOW DAY. Hellooooo, I PAY MY taxes. Lets get these butts in school please....
Believe me mykids, I wouldn't have gotten through the 6 weeks after my hyst without the help of my mom!! I am so lucky to have her around. I did figure out some ways of getting around the lifting issue like taking all the laundry upstairs and dropping it down over the banister to the first floor(thank goodness for open staircases). My mom doesn't do well on stairs, so it worked out great! Luckily this surgery is only supposed to keep me down for two weeks.
Aaaah, a weekend away with my hubby-that would be wonderful. We haven't had that in a long time. Too much going on.
I saw that your area had received a lot of snow, d. Bet the boys are loving that!
