What a great message. I'm sending this to all the PTO/PTA presidents in our school district! As always, you have a great way with words!

Wishing everyone (even the lurkers like me) a 2009 filled with peace and joy!

Happy New Year to all...here's to a prosperous 2009.

May all your cookies be sold; all your events sail with success.

Here's to Committees that function without frustration.

Here's to Presidents hearing at least once this New Year:
"Did you need help with ________________."

Here's to Treasurer's waking up on New Year's Day and realizing they've made a 10,000 dollar error that changes things in your favor.

I hope each one of us has a chance to look at a smiling face and realize that we're the reason their smiling...and hopefully we will stop and smile back.

Happy New Years!

I'll raise my crystal glass to everyone here!

WOW--lots of snow out west. I love Virginia...:). We'll get some but not a ton. Had a Christmas, Crystal and Chicks I like party Saturday night. Just girls, and crystal glasses and appies...we had a blast. I haven't stayed up till 2:30 in the morning (unless there was a sick child involved) in years. Grandpa and girlfriend made a surprise visit from Florida yesterday. We made it so the boys "ran into" them at the store. It was very funny. Dad was surprised too. Just me and his dad knew. THAT'S Christmas!!!

So here's my wish for you:
May you always have a Christmas where you can lift a crystal glass and toast the wonderful chicks in your life. Whether in person or virtually, nothing can stop us from making a difference.

love you guys

Well, thank goodness we had our class parties on Thursday-- Friday came in with a bang and we had no school- 10 inches of snow later and the kids where in heaven.
Now we're on Christmas vacation for 2 weeks and I want to know already when January 5th will get here??? The kids are excited for Christmas, but they are under my feet all day-- while I'm trying to get last minutes things done--.

Time for one of those liquor filled chocolates...
