I can't believe it's that close either! I have NEVER been so far behind. I just barely started my Christmas cards. I have just been overwhelmed lately with kids activities. Yesterday I spent 6 hours transporting and sitting at musical events in which my daughter was participating. Meanwhile my husband and son stayed home and watched football and played on the Wii. I got snarled at when I asked if he had charged the video camera as the daughter and I rushed in to the house between events to take potty breaks and get snacks-he hadn't, so no video of daughter's performance, and the two showed up late for the one concert they came to. I'm hitting the breaking point here. Should I break the TV and Wii or them?
I am so sad. My sweet, sweet boxer Maddie has started fighting with our other boxer Lola. They are so wonderful apart but now the fighting has gotten so vicious (blood etc) that I can't keep them both in our home. It is tearing me up. Maddie is the aggressor so it is right that she leave but lord this is hard. We've looked into training, etcetera but most if not all folks we've contacted say that once two boxers start to fight (especially females) it is certain they'll do it again.
We've got a foster home coming to visit this week to take her and I just cannot even think about it. I wish there was another way but I can't risk something happening to the boys. I've got bite marks all over me from trying to separate them (trust me, hard to do with two 76 pounds boxers who are ready to fight to the death).
Anyway--just wanted to type it and get it out a bit. Just talked to my hubby and one of the homes is coming to see her today. I hate this.

A little experimenting in the kitchen this week has produced a new cookie that has received rave reviews at home, work, and school:
Use the standard oatmeal cookie recipe from the Quaker Oats container. Make sure to use butter and large eggs. Replace the 1 cup of raisins with 1 cup of dried cranberries. Add 1/2 c. chopped pecans and 1/2 c. Nestle Premium White Morsels.
