onaroll, that is so awesome that your daughter got to meet Rachel Ray!! Did you see the show where the 13 year old girl was going to trade in her pearl earrings for a knife like Rachel uses? She surprised the girl at the jewelry store, made her keep the earrings, gave her knives and cookware, and had her on the show!
NYC was great! We even ran into Rachel Ray at the Ferry Station ~ my little chef was in awe!! The weekend went so fast. The girls already asked, "When can we go back?" Good thing we don't live far.
NYC tip - if anyone ever goes, try to get to the Empire State building on Friday night. It was the 2nd time we'd (hubby and I before) gone there on a Friday and there are no lines.

Has anyone created a personal/family webpage? If so which site(s) give you the most bang for your free buck? Our family is so vastly spread out across the states that I thought it may be worthwile to set up a website for sharing photos and blogging etc.

Hi all! Glad you're doing well d! Going on a long weekend to NYC today with the girls - xmas present. Sooooo excited! They can't decide what landmark to see first. Going to American Girl Doll Place as their present, fun!
Anywho - wanted to peek and and say 'hey'. My inside decorating is finished. Now, if only I could get hubby to hang lights outside for me!
Hmmm...I might have to position myself outside just as he's getting home from work one night next week with the ladder, lights and a hammer in my hand. I bet he'd be glad to take over then before I break something, either on me or the house. LOL!
