d ~ I'm feeling fantastic, never better. ;)

It's nice to see some new folks and familiar "faces" popping into page two.

Know what's fun?!?! PlayDoh has a 50th Birthday pack out. It's 50 mini pots of PlayDoh ~ 50 different colors. I didn't even know there were that many different colors! So I bought it. I love the smell of it. My son said he hopes he doesn't come home to find me passed out in the middle of the floor with 50 little plastic lids all around me There are worse addictions....

d - go ahead with that Schnapps - I've got Kahlua! I'll adopt you, once her list is started I'm 'on a roll' :p and filling out or picking up more stuff is all in synch. Since she became more ill years ago (progressive MS) I've always figured, she spent years taking care of me, no reason I can't do the same for her. Oooh, and she's a trip. When I say catalog queen, well, enough said-lol!

luv - she loves Rachel Ray. My boss bought me her larger cookbook last Christmas and it disappeared...until her older sister brought it to me and said, "She had this hiding under her bed."

Surgeries left and right - I'll keep everyone close in my thoughts. I'm sure everyone will come through with flying colors.

Okay--I'll take the hot cocoa with gratitude--as long as you don't mind me putting in a shot of schnapps. I guess it is the constant advertising of things and then being told "the PTO (which for all intents and purposes is me" never told me). Oy...but the holidays are upon us so I'm looking forward to that--and my gallbladder surgery in 2 weeks. Woo Hoo--just what I need, more bloating :). I'm thinking about gastric bypass--anyone have any experience with that?

I'll second the kudos for online shopping: I ordered 4 gifts yesterday. Will probably order some other things today because I got some free shipping promos from a couple places I use often. The holidays are quickly upon us!

I hate to even say it for fear of a snow storm - while I was letting our little furry family member out last night there were a few snow flakes ... very small and hardly noticable but they were there. Luv its on its way.
My SIL had gall bladder surgery yesterday and then we found out the MIL has a cyst on her kidney requiring removal surgery because it is so large. Obviously all the illness talk has transfered to my extended family. Now we all have issues with the in-laws (out-laws for some of you) but I am starting to become concerned with the possibility of transference (the theme from the X Files is now playing in my mind).
I am trying to stay motivated with the whole Christmas gift thing. Have about half done thanks to on-line wish lists. A first for me really, to have this much shopping done before Thanksgiving is typically unheard of in this house. Thank goodness for on-line shopping.
