How did the "great american pasttime" develop such an international flavor?
I made braised shortribs tonight in a red wine sauce serve over horseradished potato mash and balsamic onions. Yes I'd been thinking about it for a while. What cracked me up is that the boys loved it too and were upset I didn't make enough for them (made them the mac and cheese). So next time it'll be a rib for all--kind of like pot roast when it is all cooked and falling apart.....
