Hey anything to help!
At least I didnt use Bob and John were on trains, one from NYY to Chi, one from DeMoines to Indy?? One travels at 35 MPH the other 55MPH, one leaves at 5PM the other at 515. Who gets there 1st?

My response was always,

"What?! havent these guys heard of Frequent Flier Miles? Why should we care? "Jeez, who cares when they arrive or who's first?"

Unless its Amazing Race (which wasnt around when we did algebra on papyrus and abacas')

Naw not a nerve, my pocketbook and fandom has contributed to the insanity (and the US AntiTrust Laws Congress granted to MLB way back when)

I'd love to boycott baseball but cant, its a game (entertainment) I love; Us fans are as big a problem as the solution.

Nanoids? like microscopic computers? Waaay cool

Way to go CC (algebra think of it in baseball terms c= a +b)

OPS = OBP + SLG

where OBP is on-base percentage, and SLG is slugging percentage.

SLG = TB divided by AB

and

where:
  • H = hits
  • BB = walks
  • HBP = hit by pitch
  • AB = at bats
  • SF = sacrifice fly
  • TB = total bases
Since OBP and SLG have different denominators, it is possible to rewrite the expression for OPS using a common denominator.

Well, the gangs all here! It's great to see everyone popping in to say hello.

I have my own list of Christmas peeves but after an extremely negative past six months, I'm only focusing on the positive and counting my blessings:

~ Enough money in the bank to pay the bills.

~ A roof over my head.

~ Gifts under the tree.

~ Family and friends to spend Christmas with.

~ Ending my first college semester with a 4.0 GPA (I'm bragging now because the likelihood of ending any more semesters that way is pretty low! *Algebra next semester* Yikes...)

~ Hershey's Chocolate Mint candy canes. Mmmmm ;)

I'm off to wrap presents and decorate the tree.

now if only people would stop smoking, lots less folks would need the services that nanotech has to offer.

d, that is amazing. There is so much going on in the area of nanotechnology especially in relation to medicine. Those are the kinds of brilliant minds that should be getting paid the "big bucks"!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
