Aaaahhhh, sleep....I remember that, vaguely! Actually even thought about doing it once, but the idea vanished quickly. I've been asked to come back for ONE LAST YEAR as President, and I'm in such a quandry. Part of me really wants to do it to get those final "goals" reached that I set for our school two years ago. But the other part of me was reeeeaaaallllly looking forward to passing that torch. My kids all want to stay on for the final year. This all came up AFTER I registered for school in the fall to finally complete that college degree. AND we're in the process of house hunting (in the same area that we live now). What's a mom to do? Well, ladies, have a glorious night, I'm off to finish the DREADED paperwork...does it ever end?
I sleep from 1-6am and then I get to sleep in til noon on Saturdays if I don't get roped into something else. I've never been much for sleep and I'm not tired so I don't worry about it. I make this great Creamy Ranch Chicken in my crockpot. It's a package of cream cheese, a family size can of cream of chicken(or mushroom) soup, and a packet of dry ranch dressing mix melted and poured over 4-8 chicken breasts on low of 7 hours. The gravy is excellent over potatoes or rice. I have some chocolate leftover from valentine's day, help yourself.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
So we are full fledge into our Spring Fundraiser and our Pres decides to quit. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. The funny part about all of it is that some staff just know I'm in PTO say I'm sorry to hear you are leaving because they see me so much they think I'm the Pres. Anyway, I had an essay do last night and an exam tomorrow and one the day after and finishing up collecting fundraisers and trying to find one for next fall and find out that nothing has been done for our carnival in April, so someone please pass me a virtual shot of Caba because I have to drive in a bit! Thanks for being here!!!!

I'm going to do a pot roast in the crock pot on Thursday. I love to come home to the smell of a nice meal cooking. A friend is coming over that evening to give us all haircuts, and it's hard to gossip and cook at the same time, so I figure use the crockpot!
Gonna host a committee meeting at my house Wednesday-I invited Jose Cuervo and some limes to join us! At our last meeting we decided we needed to have the next one some place other than the school so we could kick back a little! Might get some really unusual ideas out of this meeting!!
By the way, cockroaches taste with their feet. I had a child in the class who actually knew this tidbit!
I'd have a stiff drink, but I'd better settle for a Coke-have to head off to Valentine parties soon. I'm going to play Gross Out trivia with some 5th graders. What do cockroaches use to taste their food: their toes, their tongues, or their butts?
