UUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Long story! I will tell...but need to keep moving...I need to find parents to run for the Board!
I USE TO have black hair! After this.....ah what the heck...I always liked my sister's chestnut color!
Ok MichelleB I stand corrected, I must have misinterpreted the post and thought they were referring to you. Hey Tim - let's get MichelleB's photo in the magazine. You could sort of have you and her in the shot and maybe both of you wavig a white flag at each other...HAAHAHAHA LOL!
It's Happy Hour folks!
What will it be?
Page2 is having a limbo contest tonight.. anyone want to enter?
Now, I don't get to see the magazine anymore since I am not on our board and that is who get's them. Am I to believe the our MichelleB is in a photo in there?
LMAO! I don't think Tim would ever ask me to be in PTO Today!
You forgot to add that we have a sad little, neglected Kareoke machine that I think I brought in somewhere around page three (or was it four?) and if you give me a little bit of that Malibu Rum, curly, I'll get up there and sing something for ya!
I almost want to play what ya got (ex married a psycho who wants to take my kid to CA for berrum enemas and Chelation and a WHOLE lot more going on but I go to court on the Restraining order soon and I don't want this nutjob finding my post...
Who am I? Resident voice of the PTA and sometimes PIA! Have one beautiful son who is smart and funny and wonderful. It's all for him.

You are SO lucky! I was in the magazine three years ago but I was 6 months VERY pregnant and BEGGED not to have my photo taken! (Not too many pictures are out there of me pregnant!) But I did it! Our school is still having a rough time but the Principal was pleased with the article and I think my Mom finally took her copy out of her purse!

hmmm... I got a 23yo brother who just moved in (from out of state) with my mother and her husband. He has never fully supported himself, sans the brief stint in the military... right up until he got that 'other than honorable' discharge. As soon as he got here, his internet girlfriend and her three month old daughter moved from a town about two hours away. She wants to marry someone she knows only from the internet and has never held down a job for more than MAYBE six months, despite having been of working age for seven years. She told him he had two weeks to propose or she was going back home... and he did. He plans to adopt the baby, apparently the two of them think this will be a simple process. Oh, and they want my older two children to be in the wedding... clearly they also have no clue what a 'wedding' is going to cost.</font>
I got a mother who, although she knows I don't talk to him and think he's a total punk, called me to tell me my brother was engaged, and actually sounded put out when I replied 'Oh, that's nice' (my third attempt at speech) which I personally thought was much more appropriate than 'Offer her my condolences' or 'I'm guessing she isn't any brighter than he is' (what I almost said the first two times I opened my mouth)</font>
I got an almost 22yo sister who lives with us (so she could afford to go back to school, plus she nannied for me until DD2yo was almost a year). The last college course she took ended in May 03, but she continues to apply for student credit cards and buy items at college student rates. She just bought a car as well as a $400 alarm and $350 paint protection policy. DH pointed out that she could get an alarm for about $200 and probably the whole car (subcompact) painted for about the same, she replied, well, it only raised my payment $40. When I asked her how long her loan was (60 months) and to do the math on 60x40, she actually responded that once she paid for those add-ons, her payment would go down. When I asked her, where in this contract does it tell you that, because that's now how financing generally works, she walked out of the room. IMO, if someone told me I was going to pay $2400 for an $800 package I could get on my own for $400, I'd be a little more appeciative.</font>
I got an 8.5yo who told his 80yo great grandmother, who is not in particularly good health, last week that smoking is for losers and she is just killing her body slowly.</font>
I got a 5.5yo who may have a future as a dancer in rap videos. We rarely watch TV (too busy) and when we do it's almost exclusively Disney. She has moves that I know she didn't see on Cheetah Girls.</font>
I got a 2yo who tells me to shut up. Neither of my other two kids ever had the balls to tell me to shut up or even so much as ask me nicely to be quiet. Shut up is considered a dirty word in my house, so I guess I can thank the babysitter's other charges for that. Two weeks ago, she opened the door and let the dog out... then followed her to bring her back. I had just 'missed' her will cooking dinner when the mail carrier started beating on my door. As she pulled up to the mailboxes, she saw a bitty little girl following a dog around the corner, who looked suspiciously like the dog she has seen in my back yard. I caught up with her about a block and a half away from my house. I gasped, 'Daija, where are you going?' and she looked at me like I was stupid and stated 'Ramie go.' and kept following the dog. Thank G-d the dog was heading back into our subdivision and not for the major street at the other end of my block.</font>
I've ordered three boxes on two different occasions. I bring them home, and put them away, but I don't got girl scout cookies. I got a DH who, when I get home from work, looks me straight in the eye and volunteers 'Those kids ate all the cookies'. Yeah... those kids who have been in school all day.</font>

I am actually in two yahoo groups for multiracial/multicultural/interfaith families that's like that... Unfortunately my son is one of the oldest of the kids, most of whom aren't in school yet and dammit, I am really tired of being the one with the most experience!
