I will take a margarita please. I'm sure you all have seen my issues with our the Pres. up and leaving after abusing her position and then, well, the list goes on. To add more to it, I get a call from a local McDonald's confirming a McTeacher Night that our group never new about. And the kicker is, she set it up AFTER she resigned. The woman was very understanding but couldn't believe that someone would do this. I wanted to say neither could I but I've been watching her work in this underhanded way for almost a year now. Maybe I'll take two!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

You know Scottmom I was just voicing that idea to a co-worker at lunch. Those big 6 foot tables aren't that much and as long as we could find a place to store a half dozen or so, I think it would be a great investment. This buildings guy is one of those people who likes to throw his weight around and try to be a big shot. We've crossed paths several times and I don't know of anyone who likes him. The best was a couple year's ago when as we were building our playground he was talking about structural integrity and such to a group of parents that was made up of three engineers and a construction supervisor! My husband was one of the engineers and I thought he was going to just laugh in the guy's face. I think he forgets who provides his paycheck! Maybe I should remind him! You know chewing someone out right now might be just what I need.

I'll add the tables to my want list just under the electric stapler I put on the other day after assembling 460 flyers!!

Margarita's for everyone!!! I'm out of here, talk to you all Monday!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Luv, Just tell your group that they should have their own tables to fall on for such events and go buy some that you know will be there when you need them. It's funny how that motivation is there at the beginning of the year and it seems like there isn't a lot to do but spin wheels and then everything happens at once and you just want to pull your hair out. I always pray for a new member/volunteer to come my way in the spring to get me going again until school is out. Last year I got called at 8 am on the 1st day of summer by the school secretary and I just wanted to scream b/c it could have been taken care of any of the millions of times that I had been in the last 2 weeks but she decides to wake me up knowing I was on the verge of a breakdown. If she wasn't my friend, I would not have been so polite about it. It is so nice to know that there are more people like me out there. Thanks guys! ;)

Well, the stress of spring carnival and book fair planning has finally caught up with me. The migraine came on yesterday afternoon as I was driving my kids to the orthodontist. Wanted to cry by the time I got home. It's still lingering there this morning-may take off work early today. It wasn't helped by the school secreatry calling me this morning to tell me that the buildings supervisor said I can't have any tables for my book fair. Seems they're all needed for roundup--skeptical about that. I'm calling everyone I know who has card tables and if all else fails, I guess I'll stack and cover the boxes they come in and use those. Got to get those creative juices flowing
pour me a shot of tequila and I'm on my way!!!

I need some Beach Boys, Bob Segar(sp) or someother old time rock n roll. Today is the third day that I've been home with a sick child and I missed 3 hrs. work yesterday to pick her up early.

I'm so backed up on Girl Scout cookie orders, and deadlines from work that I can't get motivated. I even brought home some of my work to today, but where am I at? The greatest place...talking with you guys!
