It's been so cold here that I got out the long sleeves for the hunt and then it was warm and sunny when we got outside. Go figure.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
I spent last weekend cleaning, this week trying to wear out the kids, and this weekend cooking and throwing a birthday party. So help your self to the birthday cake, don't mind the green icing it was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cake, and the fried ravioli. There are also some lemon cheesecake bars in the fridge for tomorrow.

snort - it probably would be if it ever stopped raining over there! The kids and I were supposed to spend a lovely three days in Santa Barbara but wound up driving to Tucson for our vacation instead.
I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Blessed and Happy Easter.
The sun is shining bright and warm today and I'm praying it holds through tomorrow's community Easter egg hunt. But, if not, it won't be the first time the kids have done it in the cold snow..LOL.
Oh the falls-we honeymooned there lol--on the canda side--went back a few years ago and again we will go with the kiddos next year--kinda a 5 yr thing lol!! Anyways we drove thru the NY side but stayed over in canada the whole time we were there. If you can go on the boat ride its really cool--i am not sure what there is to do on the NY side but if you decide to venture over to canada--its really pretty. ENJOY your vacation--or should i say adventure LOL!!
You might think I am crazy but I am going cross country with my two boys 11&12 we are headed to upstate NY first to see the falls and then going west. I would love to hear of some great places to stop and check out not all the regular parks and sites, I rented an RV and never camped before this is truly going to be an adventure!! It will be cultural arts at its best.
