I guess I better start looking to sell my home. The soccer mom duo got in. Just goes to show you how my town's mentality is changing. We have a whole lot of young parents and people who are Missing a good part of their brains... sad to say that these people who are led by their noses and think that getting a new welcome sign and fresh paint to make the staff and students feel better is more important than quality education, test scores and financial soundness.
What a world... what a world.
I will take shots all night long... line em up.
p.s: I am seriously thinking about a move at this point. No joke.
A picnic is just what I need. I'm ready for a relaxing outdoor activity. You know, I'm going to try to fit a picnic dinner into our plans this week at home. I think we could all use it!
Our pollen counts are through the roof here, too. I've been giving everyone a dose of Claritin with their cereal in the morning and we probably won't get to play outside or go for walks much for about another month. I brought some leftover pizza for an end of testing party today. Please eat it so it's not in my fridge, calling my name.
Also, found out I have an A in a class I've been really worried about so how about a mimosa to celebrate.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
You could also check out rental places for a punch bowl(maybe they would donate for usage) or your church. I've also just used glass pitchers on each table.
Glad to see someone is here. Dreamsicles were one of my favorite childhood treats, will have to try this recipe.
How about I brew up a big pitcher of iced tea and we sit out on the veranda?
A clear glass mixing bowl is fine. Walmart also has some really cheap stuff in their summer isle. My husband but a big bucket to hold his beer for his cookouts for about $5-much cheaper than the $30 cooler he buys every year b/c it gets ruined. I'll do the windows!
