Also, sorry to hear about the debit card. I have a neighbor who had her identity stolen and it was a multi-year nightmare for her. Hope your mess gets straightened out quickly and easily.

On a positive note: The robins have moved back to Iowa! There were bouncy orange breasted birds everywhere this weekend. A sure sign that spring is close!!

Sorry, too, d, about the debit card thing. That must have been a terrible, sinking feeling. On the bright side, maybe they can make one of those funny stolen identity commercials with the dirtball talking with your voice.

I got to help work at a women's self defense seminar this weekend. That is always so fulfilling. Some ladies come out to support the cause, pick up a few personal safety tips and enjoy the company of friends. Others come with a mission and you can see it in their eyes. Whomever it is that they're thinking of when they're practicing those moves, well, I feel sorry for. Just watching those women leave with their shoulders back and their head held higher is the blessing I look for.

Oh yes Ona--when I'm on the Today show--I'll hold up your copy ...boys were off Friday--I think they just wanted to have a day off since we've had ZERO snow days...I'm going to hear a rock band tonight. Hope it starts on time (9:30) because by 11ish I KNOW I'm gonna be snoozing...somewhere....

My girlfriend had a style party last night. She talked about what's in and what's not and I think I had on every faux pas there was...but oh well...

had my debit card number stolen and last Friday I had 1,000 dollars in my bank account and by Tuesday morning I had exactly 62.15 cents. We were able to stop about 1/2 of it before it cleared but I'm now in arbitration for the rest. What a pain in the neck....

My girlfriend who works the FBI aspect of this was here when I got the call and said they really cannot even stop it. By the time they trace it - the folks are gone and the goods are usually money orders that are immediate and then spent. Makes me wonder though which dirt ball stole my number....

Its been sunny here for more than two days in a row and despite the cold feels great. There is renewed hope that Spring may actually be just around the corner ... TBall flyers are making their way home and I have been busy reviewing gardening plans.
Anyone tried the new 'green' cleaners out there? I used the new clorox line and my kitchen now smells as if I just finished cutting up a bunch of limes for Margaritas. I kind like it and may be converted if they truely do work for every room in the house as they advertise. Not sure about buggers on lampshades ...
