I'm looking forward to A Christmas Story..."you'll shoot your eye out." I love the cell phone commercial that spoofs that movie.

I was just thinking about a warm comforting dinner tonight. It's damp and dank here with the same snow & cold on the way LUV. If I made vegetable soup there would be revolt in my household (meat & potatoes group) so I am leaning towards stew but also have a couple of nice roasts here.
Let's hope that with the snow the sun decides to show up sooner than later! I think I am going to dig up all the old Mearl Ives Christmas movies now that there has been mention of the snow miser. Funny how year after year they come up with newer versions of Christmas movies but many I know still love the good ole classics better.

Wow, CC 105! I had 103.7 once and thought I was going to just combust. Poor guy, hope he's feeling better soon and you can get back to a more normal life.

It's raining cats and dogs here today and is supposed to get cold and change to snow tonight. YUCK! It does make me want to cook. How about a big pot of vegetable soup? I'll make some homemade bread to go with it.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Shawn--what a lovely quote...I'll be using that one this holiday season for sure!!!

Ga--Kinda sorta mended. There are technically no more breaks but the muscles and tendons are rigid from lack of movement so there is a lot of pain associated with "just being". The therapy is helping. In the big scheme of things I'm very happy to be where I am in the healing and will take that with a kiss and a smack actually. The pretty little pain pills help keep everything in check as well!!!

I'm Mister Green Christmas
I'm Mister Sun
I'm Mister Heat Blister
I'm Mister Hundred and One
They call me Heat Miser,
What ever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch
I'm too much

He's Mister Green Christmas
He's Mister Sun
He's Mister Heat Blister
He's Mister Hundred and One

I never want to see a day
That's under sixty degrees
I'd rather have it eighty,
Ninety, one hundred degrees!
(spoken):Oh, some like it hot, but I like it really hot! Hee hee!

CC--I think it is time for Shawn to open the bar back up for you! I'll go dig out a baking pan and see what I can whip together. Maybe some apple dumplings?

Can you believe it is almost Christmas?? I was in shorts Sunday putting up the lights in the yard. I love it! The songs are on the radio, Charlie Brown was on tonight, I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR.

Well today was my last day in Pre-k. i can't believe I am admitting this, but I actually cried when they told me bye today. The teachers talked to the students about it and they brought gifts in for me. One boy said I ate his M&M's at halloween, so he brought me some. One girl told her mom I always smelled good, so they sent a candle. One boy (who is autistic and has a speech impediment and if he is trying to tell you something and you don't understand pretty quickly, he will melt down and it ruins the whole day) brought an angel, cause he said that was what I was like. One girl brought a leaf, because she and I walked around the playground looking at fall leaves one day. These 4 year old kids put so much thought into gifts. It was so precious. Needless to say, i cried and cried. I am going to go back the last week of school and have hot chocolate and cookies with them.

D-are you completely healed now? Is everything all back to normal? When is your big girl trip?
