Ooooo, cold snow running down my collar. Thanks Silver.....
It was another balmy day here in Alabama. But my family lives in northern states and they're all miserable from the extreme winter weather that hit them. MIL is without phone, power, cable, everything thanks to a huge ice storm.
Warning, there are some graphically gross photos on this CDC link posted below but this is what the doctor believes hubby has and what he's treating him for. The rash is every bit as bad in person as it looks in the photos. Hubby is still miserable but optimistic now that we're closer to a diagnosis and have started preemptive treatment. He's an angel. As sick as he is, he let me take a 'nap' this morning. I intended to get an hour or two of sleep starting after I dropped our son at school. I went to bed at 8:00 am and didn't stir again until hubby woke me at 2:30 pm to got get the shorty from school. I feel like a whole new person after 6 1/2 whole hours of sleep!
Now, hubby is calling for a chocolate shake so I'm off to Dairy Queen.
