LUV - you're not alone. Here has been my week, 4 am Monday, plane takes off from NY to SC for meetings. Blah, blah, blah and a couple of who-ha's the next couple days. TRY to fly home at decent hours yesterday. Get home at 1 am, sleep about 3. Up at 6, kids out the door, neices softball game this afternoon, and go to store. WHY - you ask? To buy lots of food to cook for neighbors tomorrow night! I love my neighbors but I was not thinking right when I planned it for this week. Bright side - they are bringing the wine! Yay!
Sounds like everyone else is doing well. Wanted to stop in and say, "hi"

Okay Silver, now I HAVE to get some ribs to cook this weekend!
CC, I can understand how you feel. I have a friend who is a big runner. She is a couple years younger than me and has 3 kids, but I'll be darned if she doesn't wear a bikini and look great in it. If I didn't adore her so much I'd smack her. Even if I get some more weight off, I think I'm to an age where a bikini just wouldn't feel proper.
d, don't feel bad, I haven't gotten anything for my children's teachers either. It's just been too busy this week and I have helped with all the TA festivities including rushing out to get items that were supposed to be supplied by a room mom who went AWOL. I'm sure the teachers have more than appreciated all the efforts you have put in this year that have made their lives easier. I'll probably stop at a local eatery and get some gift certificates and have the kiddos make some thank you cards.
Just remembered, I have to make two fruit pizzas tonight and son has a baseball game. Ugh!!
Devine ... absolutely devine! Here is my best BBQ sauce smile with corn pieces between my teeth! We are all going to slouch on the couch, belts a notch larger and watch Idol to see who ain't "Stayin Alive." Think they will have Travolta dancing ... I dream ...

Aaaahhh TA Luncheon today...made 70 chicken enchilladas...GONE....15 pounds of hamburger meat...GONE...I'm tired and almost GONE..then we set up the chocolate fountain tomorrow and Field Day is Friday--just realized I haven't bought my own teachers anything.
Good news is we had left over taco meat for dinner ...

Thanks to everyone for all the hanging basket advice - I went with putting my own baskets together ... white, pink and purple petunias ~ looking fab.
Finally got the grill fixed. Twas a safety valve acting up ... I guess it was doing it's job so I am not going to complain! BBQ Ribs for dinner tonight - heavy on the BBQ - with baked potatoes and corn on the cob via the grill. Can taste the salty butter dripping off of the corn already. Just stocked the wine racks ... yup it's gonna be a good night!
