Did someone say pie?!?!

Hello, LUV. It sure has been quiet in here today, huh? I've been nursing a bad sunburn all day. We had friends over yesterday and stayed in and around the pool from 11:00a - 2:00p. It felt great at the time but today we all look like a bunch of lobsters!

I forgot how much energy six year olds have! My friend's daughter went off the diving board 578 times yesterday. I was her new best friend by the end of the afternoon because all of the other adults wore out early and that left the two of us splashing around for the last hour or so.

I'm just so glad we actually get to use the pool before we move. And my friend is kinda glad our house here hasn't sold yet because she's going to 'keep an eye on the pool' for us over the summer. She's a good friend like that.

Helllooooooooooo........anybody around? Well, I guess everyone must be off doing Teacher Appreciation stuff. I did my part early this morning with dressing up the tables for the luncheon. Guess I'll hit the kitchen here and start baking some goodies. Maybe the smell of chocolate cake and cherry pie will bring people in.

They had this huge lottery to see her in Richmond...I'm afraid I wasn't invited nor did I win. I have however kissed a baron (on the cheek). Boy was THAT a long time ago.

I'm glad your boys loved the movie, d. It's all about the simple joys of childhood. So, did you pop over and say "Hey" to the queen while she was in Jamestown?

The boys watched "Sandlot" last night CC. They LOVED it. I'd forgotten what a great movie it was...we heard them hooping and hollering from downstairs the entire time.
