To husky Pride: I think Disney will donate in 2-consecutive years, as long as the event is at least 1 calendar year apart. We received last year and this year from them. Check your event dates. Unless the guidelines have changed?

We have actually had the most luck with local businesses, some local boutiques donated really nice auction baskets, and since we live in an area that is still very much under construction, we got sizable donations from most of the area home builders too. We were turned down by Disney this year because we got tickets last year.

We did have an offer of a cruise at one point that disappeared when I asked for something in writing to make sure we marketed it accurately. I eventually looked into the company that had offered it and was glad that they didn't follow through on their promise because it could have been a real nightmare if it had gone as badly as I think it might have.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! This sight is great. Being a newbie is tough, but this group has made it a little easier. Thank you again!

Just wondering what you put down as a value for signed items, like the Jan Brett poster or a Sports team signed photo? Thanks!

We just received a gift card donation from Plymouth Cards, www.plymouthcards.com. Our group works with students on the spectrum and so this company likes to support special needs organizations/schools. They don't have the info on their website, just fundraising, so we just emailed them on their contact form.
