Yes, I agree, the donated gift cards from restaurants are the best luck I have and sometimes how I'll ask, is can you do just the 1 $25 gift card or can you do 2 $15 one's for us? Then, sometimes I can combine 2 smaller gift cards for a prize instead of one big one! Go to car washes too and oil and lube places for your male teachers and such also!!

I used to sell computers for a very large computer firm so I have the sales background and I think if you went to the concierge of the hotel with your letter, which most won't read if you go personally, or for smaller hotels, the hotel mgr. and tell them you need grand prizes for say "Teacher Appreciation Week" or something and can they offer just a one night stay, maybe a room with a garden/jacuzzi tub and make it on a weeknight, or a slow night, who cares, put it up on your marquie that you're donating a room for a teacher appreciation af such and such school, then you'll also post it on your school's webpage as well as the newsletter that reaches over 550 families (we only have 435 kids in our school) and that our district will also advertise it in their newsletter which reaches thousands in our district, plus I'll add, if they're Chamber of Commerce members (which I check out ahead of time), this will help them be considered for the educational community involvement award they consider for many businesses!!

Right now I'm trying to get our perfect discipline trip funded to a themed park that costs between $7000 and $10,000, and so far I've gotten $3,000 funded for the 3 tour busses and now I'm going to go other car dealerships in town and ask them to match it or don't let them out-beat you, donate more!! I think I've got one more doing another $3,000 so just need 1 more to fund the rest and we're good, for the first time ever!! For more info, you can email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I'll try to help anyone I can, but you all are helping me somuch, so thank you to you all!! :)

Panera has changed there guidelines:

One Time Certificate Donation: Depending on the size of your event, we offer Bread for a Year or Bagels for a Year certificates (we do not donate gift cards). These certificates may be used for local community events such as silent auctions, trivia nights and raffles that are raising money to support hunger relief organizations.

One Time Product Donation: For events that are raising money and awareness about fighting hunger, we donate freshly baked bread or baked goods for event provisions (we do not provide sandwiches, soups, salads, or beverages). Examples of events we would support include: Walk for Hunger, Brake the Hunger Cycle tours, a food bank volunteer event. Donated product may not be resold.

Sorry about that Adrienne,
I DID say that you were in Indy, however I suppose people skimmed through my message. I will take your email off the post, and hopefully that will resolve the issue.

This is Adrienne from Edible Arrangements. I have received several requests from people all over the country from people who have seen my email address on this site. My donations are only good in Indianapolis as I work for a local franchisee. If you would like something from edible arrangements and you are not in the Indianapolis area, please go to edible.com and use the store finder to find a store near you and contact your local store directly.
