I would love some more information on how you request donations through facebook? I have no idea where to start, how to find the contact name or email, or what to do? Can you help? THANKS!

They have been amazing so far. The technical part of the online auction has been a breeze. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema gave us 10 passes, valued at approx. 100.00
The Atlantis Resort & Casino gave us a 3 night stay. 300.00
Amy's Ice Cream gave us 2 cones. [anyone know what this value is?]
A local theatre gave us two season passes. 266.00
creation museum, 4 passes. approx. 120.00
We have about 50 items already.
We received a timeshare donation, which we have on our online auction.
Had to do some research, but it is going to be a sweet deal for someone, and should make us a few hundred dollars.
Got several trips in mexico.
We even have a few antiques in our online auction.(friends have donated these items)

Facebook has been very easy. It is pretty easy for them to "check me out" and see that I am a real person, who really does live in their city.
Thank you, I have read over that. I am in hunt for the paperwork from when we were 501(c)3, but no one seems to have it. It would have been so much easier if the past officers would have paid the renewal.
MarieMD, the problem with doing it now is that we are not a 501c yet. Everyone that I have looked at requires you to be a 501c before requesting. I am in the process of getting us tax exempt again & hope that it can be finalized before december, but afraid that I might be wishing for a miracle.
Any ideas obout that process would be appriciated as well.
