We have the items sent to the school. I think it looks more legitimate.
I do auction acquisition for another non-profit and the items are sent to a person's house; we don't get as many items donated. But not sure if it's necessarily due to this.
If for some reason an item gets lost in the mail, someone might question you if the items are coming to your house.
We are fundraising for an elementary school. Are you requesting people send items directly to school or to person (residence) doing the fundraising? I'd rather collect items at my house (the school would prefer it too) but wondering if that deters companies from sending stuff. Thanks!
