The hotel stay was a donation but we have a donation from an Orlando Area hotel so we no longer need it. The stay is good for two weekend nights and breakfast for two in the Hotel Resturant. Re: Sticks and Stones, or any other business that offers to give you a zillion (or 99) gift cards - it is almost a sure bet that you will not be able to combine them. Otherwise, you would request 99 gift cards, put them together, and have $5,000 worth of gift card. They would go out of business in a hurry. I think of donations like that more like a coupon. People still like them, and I don't even think you need to put a disclaimer in there. Add them in a basket with other stuff and it will be fine.
I'm so jealous you received a 'yes' from AG. I tried 2 years back and was denied. Stampin up is an awesome package. Keurig, Panera and build a bear were very quick to respond with a yes as well.
FYI - Sticks and Stones. You can request up to 99 $50 gift certificates but only one certificate can be used per order. I missed that info in the donation application process (was it there?) so I thought that 4 certificates would make up a $200 prize.
Makes it harder to use as a prize when, from the website, it looks like they are going to have to spend 2 or 3 times the gift certificate amount in order to purchase anything.
I will use but will try to give full disclosure so there aren't any misunderstandings that come back to hurt us!
