CC, No sugar, well that's just crazy talk..hahaha

Thanks for the encouragement...I am sooooo overwhelmed right now....I think I should have quit the PTO, quit being a Girl Scout leader and layed down the law to the 3 kids before I jumped into this...hahahaha O yes, my kids are so much better at math than me....when I took the entrance exam, I couldn't even figure out how to work their calculator...hehehe

I think I will enjoy it once I get myself organized and on track...don't think I prepared as well as I should have before this week....lesson learned...

O, don't get me started on the fund raising dilema...we had a president that wanted to spend, spend, spend, but actually said it was ok to have "fundraisers" and intentionally not make $$$$$, could never understand how she thought the funds were going to last...I have no intention of ever dealing with THAT again...Maybe it's just me, but it seems like some people just want to be an officer for all the wrong reasons....

Well, here's sharing all my chocolate.....this week it is minature Snickers and Hershey's Speical Dark Eggs (clearance Easter candy)....IT IS GOOD !!!!!!!

Here you go, LUV. I knew I was saving that chocolate bunny for a reason!

I swear the parents are cattier than the kids. I sat for three hours at Shorty's track meet tonight and couldn't believe some of the things the moms said to each other. And these are supposed to be adults and the role models that their children follow. Aye yi yi .....

I'd lose my steam on the fundraising thing too.

I'll join you for the beer and wings, CC! I am having middle school/high school flashbacks. Now let me just say that I had the great fortune to attend a small school where most of the typical "horrors" of those years didn't occur, or at least weren't quite as pervasive, so I'm struggling a bit here. We're talking snide comments to anything that wasn't suggested by the moms of the popular girls and just an overall feeling of being included only because they HAVE to include us. I worked my tail off for a recent fundraiser thinking the $$ was to be used for children who couldn't afford to pay the expenses for a trip and found out at the meeting that all that money is going for elaborate decorations for a dance! I had already agreed to spearhead a big part of the next fundraiser but now the enthusiam just isn't there. UGH!!! Pass the chocolate too!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

jajea - LMAO. I don't drink either ~ except virtually. The pink tennies are helping my mood, as is the Starbucks grande skinny hazelnut latte... (froofy enough for you Shawn?!?!)

My trainer says I need to cut out sugar completely. Completely? That's just mean. Seriously. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or a few other vices that I won't mention here (tmi). Sugar is all I have. Well, all I had.

College? Good for you!!! My advice is to just jump right in!!! I started back to school full time this past fall after being out for 25 years. A lot has changed but so much is still the same too.

Embrace the technology. The less you fight it and the more you use it to your advantage, the easier the transition will be.

Know that everyone isn't staring at you and you aren't the oldest person ever to take a college class. Everyone is looking at everyone because they're all sizing each other up: Who's the teacher's pet, the slacker, the class comedian, etc. Once everyone falls into their roles, things settle down.

The confidence and experience you have now as opposed to 25 years ago is a tremendous advantage. You know what matters (and what doesn't) and can focus on your school work without all of the other BS interfering.

Waiting until your kids are old enough to help you with your homework is probably the biggest advantage. :D Shorty is the absolute best algebra tutor I could ask for.

Most of all, enjoy it. Soak up all you can.

Can it really be that 12 days have passed since someone has posted on page two? Maybe it's just an April Fool's joke?!?!?! :p

I need a beer (make it two) and a big plate of something bad for me..... something spicy like buffalo wings or nachos. Anyone else?

I'm trying to cheer myself up. I bought a brand new pair of pink canvas Converse One Stars at Target today. They're helping but I'm not quite there yet.
