I know CC, my daughter heads to high school next year too! It just seems like yesterday when hubby and I were admiring her on the ultrasound. I think hubby is scared of the "boy stuff", but I'm more frightened of the homework. I don't think I'll be much help with cellular biology!
Hey beignets! Funny, I'm eating M&Ms while reading your message. I'm a true addict.... An online search also indicates that it's a good book to read. I'm heading to the bookstore this afternoon so I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
Oh my goodness. Shorty graduates from 8th grade next Friday. After that, he'll be a "high schooler", something he reminds me of daily. Where does the time go?!?!?!?!
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

8th grade end of year activities here! I will say that they get that info home and back pretty quickly! 14 days left! You know, even though I know the kids will fight like cats and dogs after a couple weeks, I'm looking forward to the down-time. I have lots of special chores for them too. Hee, hee!!! My son is going to learn the fine art of wall paper border removal if he wants his room redone.
Oy we still have family bingo, bobcats at the ballpark, bobcats in the water and alumni night (oh and field day) before the June 16th end of year. AHHHH.
