SCott, I am glad it isn't just me with the neighbors. Mine got their kids 4 wheelers for Christmas. One kids is in 4th grade, the other in pre-k. We live in a cul-de-sac with 9 houses, so our street sin't that long, but those kids ride those things up and down the street all day long. just back and forth. Plus the mom is never watching them. (That is my real problem.)
Christmas day, they were riding them all over our yard. They live right beside us. My husband just opened the door and glared at them, and they got the hint. Why buy your kids something when they are just going to go in circles on them? They never take them to places to ride, and there are several places around here that they could go to. I grew up in the middle of no where (my parents owned 98 acres of land in the country) in a town with 1 red light. I never thought I would say this, but I miss not having neighbors. All of ours are just slap crazy.

Long day today--class till 3, then PTO meeting at 6:30. And I can't get motivated to get up and get moving from this chair. Monday's off are nice, but I always pay on Tuesday.

It was 73 yesterday, a record breaking high. Now today the low is 43 and the high is 47 and windy. Geez, I was in shorts yesterday and today I am trying to remember where my gloves are. :( And they are concerned about sleet on Thursday. YUCK!! Atlanta doesn't get snow. We get slushy junk and everyone freaks out and buys out Walmart and Kroger.

OK--have waited till last minute to get moving so now I will be rushing! Everyone have a great day. :)

We've been eating out a lot too but I think it's because we are so busy. It just seems to take too much effort when it's dark and cold and it takes twice as long to do anything while fighting with ice, snow, and kids winter clothing. I think getting dark before I've started on dinner scares me into thinking I need to move faster or something.
CC-my husband doesn't understand tanning either, of coursxe I do it so I'm not depressed.
Shawn-I always hated living in place where other people had a say in what I did with my home. Grew up in the middle of nowhere. I think that's part of why I don't like my neighbors inability to keep their music and cars undercontrol, in my mind, they are disrespectful because they are disrupting my peace.
I'm trying to watch the Golden Globes but those speeches are just too long. Maybe they could limit the actor's alcohol intake until after they have won their award.
My husband has decided to buy/build a new surround system to go with our new entertainment center. No sense telling him that the $30 he complained about me spending at Bath & Body Works is only a very small fraction of what he is wanting to spend and he just bought a surround system 15 months ago. I promise I won't go crazy thinking about it since it seems to be a very common issue!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Maybe you need to meet him at the door in your new shoes, hair and nails and show him who you're really trying to impress! Will that get me censored?

Yep, twice.... Hubby's under a tremendous amount of stress right now so I'm bending over backwards but now he's just being silly. Someone else.... that's ridiculous.... Everyone knows Hugh Jackman is married.
