NOt a whole lot into the girlie stuff here either(anymore)---well not me at least--I do tan though I love the 30 minutes of peace it gives me LOL!! But as far as nails and pedicures and facials--not me....My 13 year old daughter is really getting into that stuff so I do visit the nail salon quite frequently with her LOL!!--last time I got my nails done(Oh over a year ago LOL) they looked awful after a week of chasing the 3 boys, playing in the mud with them, cleaning out the llama and goat stalls--they were EWWWWWW!!! LOL!!
Scottmom, one tip on the surround system that will save some $$. Tell hubby not to fall for the "expensive" cables scam. Buy some nice middle of the road ones. The difference(if there even is any) is so neglible you will never know the difference. Well, unless he's Steve Austin the bionic man with his super hearing.
You know they gotta have at least one nuke out of the five left end up in DC by the end of the season ... keep that plan handy! I wasn't much of a Keifer fan before the show and to be honest I am still warming up to him but I find the writing and style of the show to be excellent.
DLF - I think your husband loves you to the end of the earth when he tells you to slow down and enjoy life by taking advantage of some of the girly things out there. You are blessed & truely lucky.

Oh-by the end of each 24 show I'm sitting there in a sweat...love Keifer...and last nights was a kicker...Immediately went through my escape plan if they ever pop a nuke in DC...d
My hubby on the other hand, sat me down and told me he wanted me to take more time to do facials, and massages, and workouts, and nails, go on trips to attend cooking classes etc. I have never done girlie type things and he wants me to badly. Isn't that weird...here I am being told to do what most women would kill for and it's just not in my genetic make up...I'd rather be running a mile a minute doing PTO stuff or volunteer stuff for others than focusing on myself. I've got to find a happy medium...so yesterday I started whitening my teeth...hey--it's a start
Morning All - Tried to sit through a half hour of the Globes and they just couldn't hold my attention. Of course I was watching them after '24' so they don't really hold a flame next to all the drama of '24'. Not sure I needed to see Jack heave but I am amazed they actually set off a nuke at the end! Anyone else a '24' fanatic? I am going to attempt brownies this afternoon ~ I have to remember to read the 2 oven temps - one for glass and one for nonstick - it's half of my downfall everytime!
