It's Monday ... we are shoveling our way out of the house. The kids wanted to skip school and play outside before breakfast. Now let's hope it stays for longer than 24 hours before we have another mud-fest.
ScottMom#1 - baked a cake this weekend and the only thing that saved me was the store brand frosting ... without it we would have died on the dryness of the cake. I have really got to get myself back into the cooking and baking. I think it's time my kids started eating what we like instead of sticking what we know the kids will eat ... if they are hungry enough they will eat it right?

I'm gone a few days and miss all the fun. I don't know about cooking but I can bake everyone here into obesity (just like I did myself) and we'd all ask for more. My best friend and I considered opening a bakery that did box lunch catering on the side when all of our kids finally get into school.
We've had horrible weather-ice/snow mix-ongoing since Thursday night. Friday we did monster trucks, Saturday we bought some new furniture and I've been trying to find homes for the stuff hidden around the old stuff since. Right now I'm baking cookies because I need sugar!!!!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. GaMom - my big day is tomorrow - so I'm not an Aries.... (Cheap shot - I'm looking for somebody else to make my cake) I just checked into the my karma reading....
"There is a tendency to spread yourself so thin that your constant activities keep you from determining your purpose in this life."
Gee I didn't need somebody else to tell me that one.... I'm not getting my dose of PTOToday forums this last week, 'cause I can't find time to get to my 'puter.
Better find a heavy thick pot of coffee to hook into my IV for the evening. Tomorrow is 3 meetings, one morning of volunteering and 6 more forms to get prepared.....
