LUV, the mayo never lasts long enough so i dont know about the storage issues. i dont use eggyolk, but if you do, would suggest to buy pasteurized eggs. that would be my concern if i stored it. normally and oil and vinegar mix shouldnt spoil if stored in the fridge.
DO NOT TRY whitehouse.com for ANY of your children's projects...trust me .
As far as thanking teachers, every year I write an oped just before Teacher Appreciation Week and send it in advocating that everyone adopt the concept of "Teacher Thank You Thursday". It is the Thursday of TA Week and just a time to sit and write your teacher a thank you note for all that they do routinely for our children. Don't know how well it went last year but this year I hope it is a huge hit. I may post in a different thread to get folks energized to do their own "Teacher Thank You Thursday" at their schools. Low cost and EVERYBODY loves a fan letter!!!

I've seen recipes and it looks pretty easy, but I've never tried it. Easier to pick up that jar of Hellman's off the store shelf! Does it store well or do you have to use it quickly?
