This is yummy and serves a bunch--just need a truffle bowl. Especially good for kids (and men)--they love it!!! Looks pretty on the table but of course once scooped out its a little less refined. Maybe this and the carrot cake would work for you (since this is so easy)....d

ps--you can change to chocolate cake and pudding or even buy store made cakes and break up in the truffle bowl.

Kendra’s Truffle Recipe

1 package white or yellow cake mix
2 packages vanilla pudding
3 kiwis/bananas/strawberries
1 tub of cool whip
*bake cake in 2 separate pans (I use round pans)
Layer in:
cake
pudding
fruit
cool whip

Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve

I never thought that this is where i'd settle down,
i thought i'd die an old man back in my hometown,
they gave me this plot of land, me and some other men, for a job well done,
there's a big white house sits on a hill just up the road,
the man inside he cried the day they brought me home,
they folded up a flag and told my mom and dad, we're proud of your son

i remember daddy brought me here when i was eight,
we searched all day to find out where my granddad lay,
and when we finally found that cross,
he said, "son this is what it cost to keep us free" now here i am,
a thousand stones away from him,
he reconized me on the first day i came in,
and it gave me a chill when he clicked his heels, and saluted me.

and everytime i hear twenty-one guns,
know they brought another hero home to is

we're thankful for those thankful for the things we've done,
we can rest in peace, 'cause we are the chosen ones,
we made it to arlington, yea dust to dust,
don't cry for us, we made it to arlington

Gamom ~ how about carrot cake with orange icing and coconut? Or cupcakes with chocolate centers (hersey kisses or the such) decorated to look like bunnies? Just a couple of quick desserts that usually bring smiles to all.

Happy Easter!

15 or so adults (some are adults in age only) and about 8 kids.

Shue fly makes me think of "There was an old lady who swallowed the fly, I don't know why she swallowed a fly, maybe she'll die"

Love the fan letter idea for teachers! That is fun!

I love spring break, No wake up times, no bed times, no homework, no arguing. Now, keep in mind, Sunday night, I will be complaining. Oh well!

I signed hubby up to be a Roman soldier in a "Via Dolorosa" the church is doing, and wouldn't you know our 70-80 degree weather is turning back into 50-60's and he is basically wearing nothing! I was telling him tonight, he could wear some of my panty hose and the kids overheard---they picked at him all night for wearing moms clothes! :)

Happy Early Easter everyone! I love this time of year--all the flowers blooming, all the spring clothes out, schools almost over, etc!

You know what tv show I love? Penn & Teller: Bulls%*t! I don't always agree with them but I usually learn something. Sometimes all I learn is a whole new way to use swear words. At least I'm always entertained.

Hubby wonders if he could adopt their style for his presentations at work. I said maybe he should try it since they usually end each show with topless models. He might not get his team's agreement but he would definitely get their attention. He's definitely Penn, the tall, outspoken intellectual hippie. Now he just needs a short, speechless straightman for a sidekick.
