Mmmmmm, onion rings. There is a restaurant we go to here locally, that makes their own onion rings. They have this light breading so it doesn't hold too much grease. They are the best I've ever had. May have to go there for lunch sometime this week! My hubby loves the chocolate sundae pie at BK too. We found it at Walmart in the freezer section.

Happy May Day everyone. Flowers all around...... On Cinco de Mayo we'll pass the Corona around instead!

I ruined my workout today. Two nights without sleep and a junk food binge yesterday left me weak an lazy. I just could not get through the workout and felt terrible. I have to say that the Burger King onion rings and chocolate sundae pie are my favorite binge. They were worth it yesterday but I paid the full price (plus interest and penalties) this morning. Back on the wagon today...

No plans for Mother's Day here ... we need all our strength to get through this week so thinking ahead isn't an option this week. I do want to go out for Cinco de Mayo ... mmm! Love the music and food.

Any coffee left? It sounds sooooo good! I'll make some muffins to go with...blueberry, cinnamon crumble sound good.

I think that's all I'm going to do when I get home tonight, bake. Smells good, keeps the house warm, and lets me relax, which I really need to do.

Other big project for tonight - my oldest and I are sending in our picture to a look-a-like Mother's Day contest. Everyone says we look identical. Ha-ha, I have to tell them our temperment (sp?) is identical too

Any one have any big plans yet for Mother's Day that you know about?

Must....find....caffeine....

I need a day off and it's only Tuesday! Too much going on!

It was getting a bit personal on that post, Silver. Nice reminder to watch your words. I enjoy offering tips on handling PTO issues, but try to avoid the posts where there is more going on than someone not doing things properly.

Never to late for Irish Coffee ... in fact I am thinking of having a bit this am with my slice of carrot cake I was able to save.
Seems like we have another post running a muck. Ugh ~ why can't we all just get along. Do we really have to put things on such a personal level ...
Okay off my soap box for this am. It's a dreary day here today. Hope everyone enjoys the sun we are not having. Have a great day everyone.
