I got a whole envelope full of "thank you" letters from my son's class for the treats I had been sending in each week. They were so much fun to read! I told him he could tell his friends that I would bake something every Friday afternoon if they wanted to come to our house for a treat.
CC, I've probably missed you, so I'll just say: Welcome back to the land of the Illini!
Bye bye CC---come home soon!!!!
Thanks Luv--on the way home from church on Sunday my oldest said "Mom - I really love the things you do"....I guess that makes it all worthwhile.
d, what a wonderful event! I'm going to pass this idea on to our elementary school PTO. We try to include all of our special needs children in our events, but there are some that I think parents find too difficult for their children to handle with space requirements and such. You are a special person to give so much of yourself for all of the children in your community.
d ~ WOW!!!! That's a great article and an amazing day for those kids and their families. Congratulations for a successful event and THANK YOU for working so hard for your community. They are blessed to have you!
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
