I can tell my healthy summer is going to be a rocky one. After eating a sensible breakfast headed out to the gym for a 1hr work out. After returning home I am ready to eat anything in the pantry. I have 30 minutes until lunch ... I think I can ... I think I can ... I think I can ...
I know ~ I am dusting off the blender and making a quick strawberry slushie ...

onaroll, not only do you need a drink, you need a big piece of chocolate cake!
Story of the Day from Storypeople.com:
I mainly like life to be peaceful with a few loud noises thrown in to remind me to be grateful for the quiet I have, he said. How is it going so far? I said & he shrugged & said he had children & that was enough for me to buy him a beer.
Everybody seems to be winding down around here... Hey - we broke 4,500 posts on page two...drinks all around!
I could use one, Monday's stink. I had to give up Field Days at school to be at work today. So, when the boss called this morning and said, "Next week can you cover a couple meetings for 2 days?" (3 hours away) I promptly said, NO:mad:. I have one of the mornings off to help run the 3rd Gr. breakfast and my kids come first so I'm not going out of town for 3 days.
Did I mention the PMS too.....
I hope everyone else has a good day!

Oh Silver, I think you've hit the nail on the head! I know that my personal time has been consumed with concern for Miss Paris(spoiled brat) Hilton.
I got a kick out of Matt Lauer last week when he was stuck doing a piece on her tragic life event. One of the people he was interviewing commented that he would probably rather be covering some real news and Matt smiled so politely. You could just read his mind.
My oh my is it quiet on page two. Could it be that we are all worried about Paris not eating or acting 'normal' (there is an oxymoron term) while in prison?! First it's baby Dannilynn making us all exhausted and now it's Paris. How are we ever going to make it through her time in jail much less summer ....
Hope everyone is having a great summer!

I think part of it is because the opportunities are there and the events are supportive of folks goals. I mean who doesn't want to get rid of some toys in the house and then to have a DoD point of contact to assist has been terrific. We're also a big military area so it works. I'll tell you that we're moving our Carnival to the fall cause of that difficulty in getting support. It is a hard time for sure.
Little guy stepped on a board with a nail in it last night so we're hitting the docs today for a look. Throws a monkey wrench into all the weekend plans...yuk...
