I don't know too much about antiques ... other than I am begining to feel like one ... but I would start with the manufacturer. Can you read the name on the back? Do you know the time frame in which they were received/purchased? See if they have a website or there is a news article about them on the web. Sometimes the slightest little 'story' about the artist or manufacturer will raise the value. I wonder if Christie's Auction House has a web site with any links to reputable information sites?

Shawn, I didn't know about the new baby!!! Congrats!!!!
You are right Silver and d, CC is coming back to Illinois.
Looking for tips: my aunt gave my mom some boxes of items to put out at my sister's yard sale. Mom opened the boxes and found a couple of dish sets of my G-ma's. I told her we should probably do a little research to make sure we don't end up seeing these on Antiques Roadshow in a few months as someone's garage sale find that's worth a fortune. Any recommendations where to search on the internet? Ebay maybe?
Us good men (one's with good taste) arent interested in anorexic skinny minnies  like out here in Cali (ie Paris et al YUCK!!! YUCK!!!)

Jajea way to go! At my age I am worried more about keeping my bones, muscles and joints moving as well as having a healthy ticker more than fitting into a zero, 3, 5, ... well you get the point. Honestly, LDL & HDL are not my friends right now.
Watching what our family eats is our lifestyle and has been since I can remember. If I can maintain this body & keep myself ticking until I am 80 (not that far away now that I think about it) I am doing just fine!

They left us flat...yes, CC was moving home. Short stint in Arkansas it turns out so literally a few months after they arrived they headed back to Illinois was it? I think one of the I states.
Anyone remember?
