I'm heading to the library this afternoon to pick up some more books, I've been reading like crazy(wish the kids were as motivated). What's the title, I'll look for it at my library? Found a new author I like too. I picked up one of her books off the new release display and really enjoyed it, so I'm going to go back and get all the rest of her books.
Warm today but not as humid .... YIPPEE!

All that heat traveled on over to central NY! Right now, we're in between severe thunderstorm warnings. I'll tell you something though - I think one of the neatest things is the "after the storm" cool down. Can't wait!
Sounds like everyone had fun on Father's Day. We went with the extended family to a local state park all day - had a blast! School's almost out - 2 more 1/2 days and done. Everyone stay cool.....

Steamy again here too, Silver. Way too hot this weekend. We do have a little one day cool down coming tomorrow. Hopefully it will bring rain tonight, our lawn looks like a late July lawn-all crispy. Gotta get my car in for air conditioning repair too. It just had to die during this past horrendously hot week!

Its going to be downright steamy here today ... forgotten how much humidity in the air makes things so darn uncomfortable. Ahh to be back west. Tis the couple of weeks of birthday celebrations ... cousins, uncles, aunts ... just seems the last week of June and first week of July was or still is prime baby time.
Reading "Summer People" this week. Fun light book so far ... interresting reading a book from a teen boys perspective. He's helping to care for a well to do woman at her summer home on the cape. She can no longer care for herself 100% but is not ready for senior living. What dark secrets he is finding in everyone's past even though they snub him from the begining.
