We just finished a Jog-A-Thon. I appoached our local Walmart for a corporate sponsorship. I was told that they have a matching grant for up to $1,000. We only had to show proof that we actually made a profit more than a $1,000 after all expenses. I just turned in the paper work. I hoping to have a check back soon.

Our Walk-a-thon was postponed do to the fires here in California. There was just too much smoke for the kids to be out there walking. We are having it this coming Friday. NOV 2nd. So far though we are at $3900.00. Thats the kids that have turned in their pledege sheets already, but we need to collect most of that many still.
