I have tried contacting some of the newer suggested businesses whom others have had success with and actually received rather unexpected negative replies. Many of these businesses have been hit with hundreds of requests within days of someone posting their success stories and no way to accommodate.
I would continue soliciting the large national chains listed. For example: Highlights Magazine gives a great donation that auctions well. Other ideas would be to flip through your Parents or Simple Living type magazines, highlight products that are of interest and solicit those companies.
Has there been any companies added or updated to the original list that was made on page 1? Or has anyone else contacted ones that were not on there? So discouraged. Only got 5-6 yes's from that list. My fundraiser is in 5 weeks and getting a bit scared. Anything any one could offer would be very very very much appreciated.

ask other baseball teams - Somerset Patriots, Camden Riversharks, Lakewood Blueclaws
Ask your local Applebees (they take the donation request letter and forward it up the food chain)
go to the mall and ask places there
For a BIG prize you might be better off bundling stuff - get tickets to museums and stuff in Philadelphia, maybe a restaurant gift card or two, a PPA parking card for the meters, and bundle it as a day in Philly. Try asking Pennsylvania casinos, too. (Parx is in Bensalem, PA and there's on in Philly I can't remember the name of offhand)
I am holding a Tricky Tray for Autism for a non-profit organization on April 20, 2013. I have sent out over 200 donation requests I did get a lot of good responses but I am getting a little worried due to we are in need of BIG prizes. I contacted all of the local TV stores and Department stores but still no answer! Im located in central NJ does anyone know of any places in NJ? I tried all of the hotels in Atlantic city all "NO's".
I had seen a great disclaimer on the last thread does anyone have it. It says something to the effect that we are not responsible for expired g/c etc.....
