Setember, Thank you for your reply but I wasnt asking about a credit card issue.
What I am wondering is if you want to earn $45000 at an auction, how many donations do you need procured?
We are close to $45000 in procured donations but this also includes sponsorships. At what point should I feel safe to stop procuring to meet our goal of $45000 knowing that many donated items will not come close to value.
We're getting many donations in daily at this point since our auction is next month but I wonder how many above our goal we need.
JOanne, I am in Oakland County, MI and can share my locals list with you.
Does anyone have any idea how Snapple donates? I completed the form and got a Yes from them last month, my auction isn't until 5/31, but they have given no indication of how I get the donation (or exactly what it is).
I didn't get a donation today but I am living off of yesterday's high of an autographed script from Tim Allen.
Every year I have luck with GourmetGiftBaskets.com if you go to their site and at the bottom of their homepage under contact us is a donation request link. Click on it and print out the form and mail it in. They always send us a $20 gift certificate. Good luck!
So far most of my donation requests have been online or in person. I'm mailing a few out this week and wondered if you included a self addressed stamped envelope with your request?
When do you all stop soliciting? When you go to print or how do you know you have enough items? We're trying to raise $45000 this year. We currently have $45000 in donations. Clearly, we will not get the amount of money based on donations but we have a time where people can just donate and that will make up the difference. What formulas do you all use for meeting your financial goal vs. how many donations you have? I hope this makes sense. Our aucton is in April. Thanks.
