Eat n Park - go to their website and find community giving or whatever. So far we got a 10 gift card from the store as soon as I asked. While I was there, the manager told me about their smiley face program where they sell the cookies to you for .50 and you sell them at your event or concession events for 1.00.
Then she said, go online and apply for a corporate donation, they give big! One of the easiest forms I've filled out so far.
They have a section to ask for products, gift cards, sponsors, cash.
You can also request to have the cookie mascot come to your event. I asked for as much as I could, I'll let you know how it turns out!
I'm still less than two weeks into fundraising and have had a great response.
I've had a lot of luck so far with:
Local civic arenas --tickets to concerts/events coming to town
Local ski resorts/outdoor adventure business (i.e. whitewater)
Special events sponsored by local college, such as tickets to a Broadway show coming to our town.
I'm in WV and have applied to all resorts in our state! I've heard from a couple and am very optimistic to hear from others.
I've received something through email or snail mail about every day since my letters went out! We've been very encouraged.
What a great site - I am planning my first silent auction for a preschool and learned alot from here. We are in Metro-Philadelphia area. Next week I'll post some unique items we received...if anyone in the local area wants to touch base on where we/they have been successful and where we have not been - please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
