There is no need to be negative towards me. I'm just trying to help the other people that might not know what to do. Some may not even know where to look for the record label or how to find the information on the artist.
This is a thread that is supposed to help people.
An example could have been:
Hey-I've gotten some awesome things from a record company. Here is something that may help you.
Taylor Swift is in the Big Machine Label Group. You can contact them using this email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I could have sworn that this was the "thread" to post information like that. . . maybe I'm wrong.
musei1 - The post reads "contacting the promotions people at the record company". You have to do a little of the work yourself. Did you really expect her to post the contact info for every record label??? Find the artist you want, find their label, contact them.
Seriously - why don't we just make your requests for you?
Wanted to share my two successes with corporation donations so far:
American Girl is sending us the Molly doll with book
AAA New England sent us a one year membership
Auction details: our event is April 2 - 11 2013. Our goal is $18K. We have contacted approximately 50 corporate donors so far (ALL off the Ultimate Donation List on page 359 of this thread) and we received the two positive responses. J Crew declined as did TJX Companies.
