Call me crazy, but this is a great forum for us to all share ideas and successes.
I myself printed off each page of this list and went through it post by post for ideas (and yes, there were many duplicates and old ones that I had to filter through, but I made the effort.)
I know we're all busy and looking for that great donation, but a little effort and reciprocity from everyone goes far instead of just asking someone to quickly tell you their successes so you don't have to do any of the leg work.
This last post asking about how to get autographed items isn't anything new, but then in the same breath you said "
I found a way to get some country artist signed CDs donated" but didn't care to share with others how....well it's a bit insulting and rude.
Ok, done with my little vent. Going back to sending out donation requests based on the great idea of checking your states tourism website. What a great way to do an "Explore xxxx" package!
Happy hunting and I look forward to sharing our successes after our event in March
Anyone know how to get autographed items from music stars that are not country? (I found a way to get some country artist signed CDs donated) Or Something Auburn football related?
We are an organization which awards a 4 year high school scholarship to one of the elite private schools in the NYC area in the name of an alum who passed away in 2011. Our main fundraising event is an 80's night and are looking for help in getting donations for raffle items. Since we are affiliated with the school, we are able to use their tax ID #. I know that is helpful with many corps. Can anyone forward me a list of donors in the NYC/NJ (or even national) area who have previously said yes to your cause?

I have had great success with the listing on the web site but, I am noticing that many of the posting are over 3 years old and they are no longer valid. I was wondering if someone had a more current listing of places.
