Question about Atlantis Casino & Resort in Reno, NV
I sent a request to them for my organization's annual silent auction, and we received a Two Night Stay in a Tower Guest Room valued at $200. I work for a bicycle education and advocacy organization in the midwest, and honestly was not expecting to receive anything from Atlantis Casino & Resort, so it was a nice surprise!
Another path I've taken for our silent auction is using Etsy. I have received 5 or 6 unique bicycle-related donations that are really cool additions to our auction, and the business owners were more than happy to provide their donation. We of course get a lot of bicycle gear and product, but we also have everything ranging from overnight stays/destination packages, local items around the state, restaurant gift cards, theatre/symphony/concert tickets, etc. I've only requested bicycle-related items on Etsy for our auction, but there are soooooo many people using Etsy for their business that I would recommend trying that out regardless of what "theme" or "category" your auction falls into.
