Oooookaaay, someone pour Shawn a shot of tequila quick!
I must say Shawn that I have some similar feelings about Microsoft at times. Company went to new version a few months ago and frankly I don't really care for my computer questioning my every action. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Duh!! Wouldn't have entered that info and pressed that key if I didn't!
Microsoft (OfficeLive too) sucks!!!!! Microsoft sucks!!!!

Sounds like a good book Silver. I'll have to look for that one at my library. I read one similar to that theme last summer. It was based in the 60's during VietNam and followed a family as they struggled with sons going off to war and other social problems of that era. I can't for the life of me remember the title but I remember crying a lot!
Today is the promised day ... MIL visit hours away.
Reading a new book and have come quite smitten with it: Middlesex. Greek-American family story, takes you through the history of Turkey, Greece and America, immigration and this families inner secrets. Taking my time with this book and enjoying each page as it comes. If you love a sense of history combined with deep family morals and values constantly in termoil it's worth a read.
Have a good rest of the week everyone!

This school year is going to seem strange to me: no more kids in elementary school. At first it will probably seem wonderful to have my days off free from volunteer duties, but I KNOW that after awhile I'm going to be desperate for that involvement. I have teachers who want me to volunteer at our old elementary, so I'll probably be back there!
