I will take a grasshopper. I haven't had one in years. Olive Garden makes this ice cream/coffee flavored drink that is awesome. They also have that Sicilian Sangria that is perfect. I feel like I'm starting to sound like an alcoholic!!! I do remember having a girls night a few years ago with grasshoppers and one of my friends, after having a few, asks me for another cricket please. I knew it was time to stop then.

Gotta ask permission to work and help at the school, eh? Someone needs to tell your principal to not bite off the hand that feeds her. Funny, last year I had a similar situation with our principal. Seems that there was talk around the school that the PTA was getting "too powerful"?!? What the hell does that mean? She was assigned to our school to get control back. I told her that she could have it...just make sure you know what you're asking, though! They don't mind when parents are in there working and making life easier for them and the teachers (i.e.--stuffing 500 back to school folders, running class picnics, organizing and running field day and other various events...you guys know--I'm preaching to the choir here!!!) but when it comes to actually having...let me see here...an OPINION about something other than which flavor of cupcake to make...there's a problem. Not like we were telling them how to teach or anything. I don't know--it's just nuts! Maybe I'll have that ice tea now! (It's after noon, right...I don't want to start too early!)
