Thanks my FAVORITE comment from people...that they work and I don't. What do you call staying at home and raising four children from teenager down to toddler? Granted, I'm not lactating anymore (I empathize with you leaky ladies!) but it wasn't that long ago...and I nursed my children for 18 mos.each... Like when you're at home, you're sitting back and eating bon-bons all day and watching Oprah, right? Sorry, I'm an Italian mama, I cook and clean ALLLL day long!(In between posting, of course !)
mykidsmom, isn't it funny how it seems like eveyone wants to dump on the lactating moms? Like we are going to give. Someone said something about me not having to work and I wondered what the hell breastfeeding was, it's the most time consuming job I've ever had but definately the most rewarding. I consider PTO participation with the similar feelings for my older kids!

You all honestly think there would need to be an elimiating process if 30 women were left to their own devices. We would need a "Donald" as the Principal....we better be careful before someone steals this!!
Luv, I hate the ones that just try so hard to make you look stupid, I pissed off one by handing her EVERYTHING. Did I mention I just had my little girl, lactating, and very tired? Mean people.......they need their own committee!
I am spending enough time in the school that I see how other's children act and use that to judge who I want to work to try to get to join and who I pray will never come to a meeting. I feel like the last 3 years I have seen how closely children reflect their parents and am thankful when teachers say, "I'm so glad your son is in my class," and I know it's not because I'm always making them treats.

I use that line with my kids!!! Of course, some of these people act like children(bratty children)! Actually, I feel much better. The Prez and I exchanged some e-mail and I will be presenting a little educational seminar on how the media center spends the funds we give it. That should clarify everything for everyone and put to rest the idea of taking the library fundraiser money and spending it elsewhere. It's just so upsetting to have a couple really aggressive people trying to run the show. It's been running some parents off too. I'm usually a pretty calm person, but I do have the ability to frighten if pushed to far. I'll be putting in my shark teeth that night and have a little feeding frenzy I think. That would feel soooo good. Anybody else hungry for shrimp?
