Is it something that you just want to do or can you gather a group of the volunteers to maybe make a small garden dedicated to him, maybe something that he is passionate (sp) about, but would not want to draw attention to him? Buying a something for the school in honor of him?
You are so lucky to have someone like him involved in your school, that I don't know what to do for him. Good luck in your quest.
Ahhhhhh! One more week of school and the last 3 days are half days. I know my kids are looking forward to the end.
I finally put in for my vacation the 2nd week of June. I was just going to take long weekends and short trips, but since the lady that watches my 3 yr. old is going out of town that week, I really didn't have a choice.
Now to decide what to do that week that is fun but cheap.
If my diabetic husband knew I was saving these receipes and perhaps planning on making them for luncheon at work, he'd have a heart attack Thanks again for sharing!
Want less calories? Use only 1 carton of whipping cream, cutting the other ingredients in half. Frost top and middle, leave sides plain.
Heck no!! If your going to have desert, have desert. There is tofu for less calories. Chocolate is special. Besides, if you eat it on vacation, it has no calories!
One 9" baked pie shell( I make my own, but you could use store bought)
1 pint heavy whipping cream prepared according to package directions. Reserve half for the top of the pie.
2 small packages Jello instant chocolate pudding.
1 cup milk
3/4 cup softened vanilla ice cream
square of semi-sweet chocolate or 1/8 cup mini chocolate chips
After preparing the whipped cream and removing 1/2 for top of pie, pour in the pudding mixes and milk and start mixer on low speed. After about 30 seconds add ice cream and blend another 30 seconds or until there are no chunks of mix. Turn mixer to WHIP for another 10-15 seconds. Spread into crust. Top with remaining whipped topping and either shave some of the square of chocolate on top or sprinkle with the chips. Refrigerate for one hour.
I've thought of trying it with cooked pudding to make it even richer, but that takes so long to cool. Oh yeah, I usually end up with whipped cream and pudding all over the kitchen and the kids fight over who licked the most off the beater!!
