Everyone seems to be fine, thanks (hopefully it'll stay warm and stop the hot -cold -hot -cold weather)
I've been to Traverse City (my Mom's side of the family is from Muskeegon (sp?) and we used to spend a couple weeks each summer at Grandma's house on Silver Lake.
Plus I used to train Natl Guardsmen at post in Grayling (sp?) MI

Yes, indeed, it was a beautiful day in Michigan yesterday, only to wake up to pouring rain this morning. It's needed though if I want my flowers to grow. We went to a birthday party yesterday out in the countryside and it was soooo nice. I grew up in that area and had forgotten the tranquility of not hearing traffic zooming by. Replaced by the sounds of crickets and frogs, bet heaven is alot like that.
I am looking forward to the end of the school year. My son and I are busy planning activities and day trips to keep us busy. Our afterschool daycare program is offering a day camp for the first time. My son wants to attend at least one day a week so I'm going to let him go for 4 hours every Thursday. Our PTA also just started a gardening club, so we will be taking part in that. Definitely have to go into Traverse City to the Children's Museum and another day to the zoo.
Shawn, it's good to have you and your sense of humor back on the boards. Hope your family is recovered and all are healthy again! Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!
Yea, that's the ticket. I knew it from my vast knowledge of various trivia (or useles mundane info, as my wife would say)
Actually knew it was '83, based on a book, and a movie but I copied the rest from a TVwebsite.

Based on the 1968 novel by Richard Hooker and the 1970 20th Century-Fox movie of the same name, M*A*S*H aired on CBS from September 17, 1972 to February 21st, 1983 for 251 episodes.
One of my all time Fave's, eventhough I was only 16 at the time.

Stomach flu stinks! Had to get that off my chest right off. I couldn't get up to turn on the computer until yesterday and then I had a ton of PTA e-mails, everybody needing an answer now...
I watched the final Raymond too. I didn't get into it until I started watching the reruns a few years ago and it was sad to watch. I always flash back to where I was with Cheers, MASH, (okay giving a little of my age away but I was a kid) and missing Friends. I don't like that they have to end. I think that's why I like Soaps so much!
According to Jim though is very much my house. My husband for the most part is a sports head and he boggles things up a lot. It's the only show me and the hubby can watch together where he doesn't get bored and go watch ESPN!
ANyhow, I had to stop in. I'll skip the drinks for now but line em up for when I get back... still many things to do...
Thank you so much Closetwriter! I'll keep an eye out for it. It looks like my son's class is going to win the ice cream sundae party for our Cash for Trash contest. What flavor of topping would you like? Sprinkles or nuts? Whipped cream? A cherry? Thanks for your contributions to that!
