Fresh (I have to admit, I'm not a big cranberry fan), the only good thing that comes out of a can thats shaped like a can is my refried beans after I add the chili, salsa, pesto and cheese to it. (for other recipes tomato paste in a pinch)

In my imaginary worls I am Paula Deen's daughter-in-law and I get to help her create all those wonderful dishes....no my husband doesn't know but I am so happy the little ones love to watch her show as much as I do!! HA!

Been catching up on my fave cooks Thanksgiving shows, (AAAHHH !!!!) and the Southern Lady thats' in Elizabeth Town.
Good food and that Southern Belle Drawl.. Make me melt.. I' mean gotta melt some butter and mapple syrup for the Turkey, Mashed 'Taters, Appple and Celery Stuffing, Ham, Steak and Corned pudding. I can feel the pounds coming... :cool:

Doesn't that getting sick thing go for moms too? We're not supposed to ever get sick, or at least at my house I'm never allowed to be sick alone. Misery loves company I guess. The cold luckily stayed for only 7 days and I lucked out and didn't get my usual sinus infection. I actually did make myself a big margarita one night. Tequila to knock me out and fruit juice to boost the vitamin C..taste better than Nyquil too!
Is anybody else ready for turkey and all the fixings? They keep showing all these commercials on TV and I'm drooling. Can't wait for the next day turkey, cranberry, and mayo sandwich either!
Sorry, gearing up for the big game with Nebraska - my husband is opeing the emergancy Husker gear so Iowa State has a chance at a Bowl Game! My Grandma (whom he was close to) donated her body to the Medical School and my Mom's Cousin aka Aunt graduated from Nebraska. SO my hubby is getting all excited!
The Bronco Raider game was good for Denver (free coffee Monday!!) but boring game. Always good to see Coach smile!
ooooluv, let's get you a steamroller....NO it's a shot that will clear your sinus and make you feel SO much better and sleep! HA!! When I was a kid with broncial coughs, dad would pour me a shot of whiskey to get me to relax and sleep. In college I was a disappointment to guys that would try to out do me in shots. I was used to it! The hubby came home with the news strep is going aound at work. We're going to try that airborne stuff. Retail Managers don't get sick.....whatever.....they don't go to the doctor!
