March Madness has double meaning in our house: To my husband it means the glorious pleasure of sitting in front of the TV watching non-stop basketball. To me it means going insane preparing for our spring carnival and being annoyed at the lack of help I'm getting from my husband who is sitting in front of the TV watching non-stop basketball! Actually it works in my favor sometimes because I can sneak out of the house to get things done and leave the kids behind with him. Hee, Hee!!

I'm thinking we need some AC/DC playing on the juke box and some tequila shooters. Anyone?

I'm on the Highway to He%%!!!

I'm a NY Yankee fan. Now if they'd stop choking during the playoffs & the series...... & The NY Giants, too. At least the Detriot Red Wings are doing good.

Yes, as long as this deal goes through, we're moving to Simi Valley, CA about 30min NW of where we're at now.

Daughter will finish at current school (June)- then we'll play it by ear. Checking out ones at new house, and I'm not very encouraged.
They'll either give me keys or I'll make 'em myself

Havent checked this post recently ('cept to add the cake recipe). Still Trying to get our Calahan Edible Garden and Schoolyard Habitat donations, grants and website finished just in case we wont be able to work something out with school, transportation, etc.

I'd hate to have all this work and grants go to waste and afterschool enrichment is starting soon (my Digital Photo, Exploration Art, Environ Science, and MS Office classes)- hoping lots of students signup. :D

  and Opening day is a month away (my Indians vs. the White Sux) WBC- I'll be watching March Madness ( what knucklehead schedules anything sportwise during March Madness)

Library,
My energy for activites I enjoy-like this site-is way down because it isn't demanding of my time, like my 2 sick kids or the latest fundraiser issue or my schoolwork or the discussion of dissolving our group. I keep telling myself I will have more energy if I do the things I enjoy, it's just trying to figure out when!
I did bring some cupcakes and a pitcher of margaritas. Maybe we can all unwind and get back into the spirit.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

OK guys and gals, it's getting pretty quiet in here. It seems like last year we were playing the music more and have more fun. What's up??? I know that my energy level is way down with life in general, so I'm thinking that everyone is in the same boat.

Shawn, what was that I read earlier that you were moving and maybe to a new school??? Are you going to get the keys to that school too? :D
